Spiritual Development
We value spiritual growth. At GCC, it is our desire to equip people to become increasingly like Jesus Christ. Our desire is to help people realize their full spiritual potential by becoming maturing Christ-followers. Because people are “created in the image of God,” they are first and foremost spiritual beings. This means that every area of life is really a spiritual area, whether physical, emotional, intellectual, or financial.
Creative Worship
We value creative worship. At GCC, it is our desire to embolden people to live a life of worship. We were created to be loved by God, but we were also created to love God in return. The Bible has a word for this – ‘worship.’ Worship is our response to God’s love. It’s our reaction to God’s love by loving God back. Anytime you offer something to God, especially something of worth, you are worshiping God. And there’s really only one thing you can give God that no one else can – you can give him your love and your life!
Compassion
We value compassion. At GCC, it is our desire to be agents of God’s love and serve others through random acts of kindness, locally as well as globally. According to the Bible, we can’t love God without serving others. God has placed us on the earth to make a difference, and we are serious about it!
