At GCC, water baptisms are a celebration…a huge celebration! As a faith community, we believe the most exciting thing we can celebrate is a person’s new life in Christ. To watch someone both declare their allegiance to Jesus and to symbolically enter the new life He offers through baptism is something we all want to celebrate together.

Baptisms are held periodically during regular worship services. All those being baptized must register below, attend a brief orientation prior to their baptism, and must meet these requirements:

  • Have made a personal decision to become a maturing Christ follower (Romans 10:9-10; Romans 12:1-2);
  • Have committed to living a God-honoring life evidenced by the fruit of the Spirit (Romans 12:9-21; Galatians 5:22-23).

In addition, those being baptized are urged to register for the next Starting Point if you have not already attended.
