Operation Christmas Child
What better way to start the Holiday season than with a Packing Party for Operaton Christmas Child! Families and individuals can make fun and meaningful memories by packing shoebox gifts for children in need! Start a Christmas tradition that emphasizes giving—as the Lord says, "It is more blessed to give than to receive" (Acts 20:35). There's nothing like the personal touch of shopping for and filling shoeboxes together to ensure that boys and girls around the world receive quality gifts as they hear the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
What is a Packing Party
Packing parties create an opportunity for our church family to serve together toward a common mission. All ages can contribute. We will be collecting items now through November 1st. On November 4th we will meet in the auditorium and actually pack the boxes.
We’ve put together an Amazon shopping list as one easy option for those who would like to help. You can choose items directly from the list and have them shipped to you or directly to the church.
Please know that using the Amazon list is completely optional! Feel free to shop wherever you prefer. Clearance aisles, dollar stores, and local stores can be great places to find items, too.
Attached are shoebox gift suggestions per age group for boys and girls. You can also pick one up at the table in the lobby.
