Pray First — Not Our Last Resort, But Our First Move!

What if prayer wasn’t something we turned to only when life falls apart—but the way we began every day, decision, and challenge?
In Prayer First, we’ll rediscover prayer as a living, relational connection with God—not a ritual or last resort. Through Scripture, we’ll learn how prayer shapes our hearts, aligns us with God’s will, and invites His power into every area of life.
Prayer isn’t our last resort. It’s our first move.

Week 1

The First Move: Why Prayer Matters

From the earliest pages of Scripture, prayer emerges as humanity’s response when we drift from God. This message explores why prayer is woven into our design, how we often seek wisdom from every voice but God’s, and why true clarity and refuge are found when we return to Him first.

Week 2

Teach Us to Pray: The Lord’s Prayer

When the disciples asked Jesus how to pray, He didn’t give them a formula—He gave them a framework. This week, we’ll unpack the Lord’s Prayer and discover how Jesus teaches us to pray with intimacy, dependence, surrender, and trust in God’s will.

Week 3

Stand in the Gap: The Power of Intercessory Prayer

God calls His people to pray not only for themselves, but for others. This message invites us into the privilege of intercessory prayer—standing in the gap for families, communities, and a broken world—and learning how God moves when His people pray on behalf of others.

Week 4

Your Kingdom Come: Bold, Audacious, Expectant Prayer

God invites His church to pray boldly, expectantly, and with faith in His limitless power. In this closing message, we’ll see how Scripture calls us to pray beyond what seems possible, how to clear what blocks our prayers, and how bold prayer invites God’s kingdom to break into the present.
